About the Economic Vitality Committee: The Greater Santa Rosa area has had a history of successful companies that have grown and continue to prosper in the area. The diversified economy of the area successfully survived the 2001-2004 down-turn, despite the sharp employment drop in the technology sector. The Santa Rosa Chamber is committed to helping local companies retain high-value jobs and new companies to successfully launch.

The Economic Vitality Division has two areas of focus which address primary job creation and retention: 

  • Headliner Program - North Bay Growth & Innovation Forums are a cooperative venture with the City of Santa Rosa and North Bay Angels to link local entrepreneurs to angel/venture capital resources. This multiple award-winning program holds semi-annual conferences to showcase local start-ups to an audience of angel and venture capital investors.
  • Regional Collaborative Effort - Targeted at addressing multiple other facets that impact regional economic prosperity through working collaboratively with other entities to make a greater economic impact in the region.
